The Islamic Society of Greater Milford (ISGM) stands proudly in the heart of Hopkinton, MA, serving as a spiritual home and community center for Muslims in the Greater Milford area and beyond. Founded on the principles of faith, unity, and service, ISGM is dedicated to meeting the religious, educational, and social needs of our community.
At ISGM, our mission is to foster a vibrant Islamic community that contributes positively to the broader society. We aim to provide a welcoming space for worship, learning, and community engagement, rooted in the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
From humble beginnings, ISGM has grown into a thriving community center, thanks to the generous support and dedication of our members. Our journey began with the vision of creating a welcoming space for Muslims to gather, pray, and learn. Through Allah’s grace and the hard work of our community, we purchased the Masjid Al-Ikhlaas building for $1.6 million, a significant portion of which was funded by donations and interest-free loans (qarze hasana).
