Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to be approaching Eid al-Fitr once again.

If the moon is sighted as expected, Eid al-Fitr will be on Friday, March 20, inshaAllah.

Eid Prayer Schedule

  • Takbeerat: 8:00 AM
  • Announcements & Eid Salah: 8:20 AM
  • Location: Masjid Al-Ikhlaas, 2 West Elm St, Hopkinton, MA

Important Parking Reminder

Please carpool if possible. Parking at the masjid is limited.

If the masjid parking lot becomes full, our traffic volunteers will guide drivers to nearby alternative parking areas, and shuttles will be provided, inshaAllah.

Zakat & Fidya

Zakat ul-Fitr

  • $15 per person
  • Due for every household member, including children and newborns
  • Should be paid before Eid Salah

Fidya

  • $15 per missed fast / per day
  • For those unable to fast due to permanent illness or old age
  • Full month: $450

Zakat ul-Mal

  • 2.5% of qualifying wealth held for one lunar year
  • Gold nisab: 87.5g (about $8,300)
  • Silver nisab: 612.4g (about $600)
